loving lonny

Well, I admit it, I have been absolutely worthless since Wednesday afternoon.  I pretended that I work for "the man", that I get vacation days and a pay check every two weeks and went ahead and celebrated Thanksgiving with my family like a normal person.  I thought it would make me feel better to slack off a little but in the end it made me realize how thankful I am that I have the opportunity to make a career out of what I love.

I did do some work over the holiday, mostly inspiration hunting, which is what I was doing when I stumbled upon Lonny, a bi-monthly, on-line magazine- LOVE.  It sort of reminds me of a cross between Instyle and Elle Decor except online.

You can even access the old archived issues, for free!  You will also find a fabulous blog to tide you over between issues, and if you are looking for some specific inspiration or ideas on renovating your bathroom you don't have to look through every (super entertaining) issue to find what you're looking for, just click on the "decorate" tab where Lonny has organized some of their best photography into categories to make your life easier.

I love to see what other creative people's work spaces look like, since I'm always trying to get mine in order.  A few inspiring spaces via lonnymag.com...

cool space but the useless clutter on the desk would drive me insane, I only like useFUL clutter- and I have waaay too much of it.

so pretty and sophisticated- so not me.

Uh, I would die for a space like this, big and roomy.  A space where I could get messy and hopefully have other creative people working there with me.

So neat and tidy, again so not me.

Anyway, I won't ruin it for you, check out Lonny, you'll love it too.

Happy Monday!
