I hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend! Mine was spent in Kiawah with great friends, in an absolutely beautiful cottage, with equally beautiful weather. Of course I didn't take one picture for the blog but trust me it was wonderful.

There are some super cute shops in and near Kiawah, one I really liked is GDC Home. GDC home has a nice variety of home accessories and furniture as well as jewelry, beach coverups, bags and sleep clothes. And they had this dinnerware by Caskata that I have seen in shops before and am absolutely in LOVE with and which will definitely be on my birthday wish list.

This got me thinking about how much I love dishes. I know, I sound so domestic but I love my very simple and classic China, Grosgrain Platinum by Vera Wang...
