one of those...

This week has been one of those weeks- you know the kind, when nothing seems to go right?  I've had computer issues, jury duty, and kitchen renovation hiccups but in the end the computer is fixed with a new version of Photoshop for me to figure out, my duty for the next two years is done and the house is still standing- despite being a complete cluster.  Oh, AND today is FRIDAY!  Yay!  Life is good.

Yesterday during jury duty I was working on a blog post (that is still not finished) and my sister was kind enough to send me some blog ideas from The Atlantic.  I really loved these pictures of the recent floods in Venice because I'm blessed to have been to Venice-  ever since I've thought of it as one of the most romantic place on earth and despite the flooding I can still see the mysterious charm this now water logged city holds. 

Ahh, gorgeous- even flooded.  I hope one day I can go back with my husband before we are all old and wrinkly- but hey, I'd still take it wrinkly or flooded! :) 

Seeing these floods and all the flooding in NY sort of put my problems into perspective. I'm looking forward to a better week next week for Venice, NY and me!
