forever changed

I am sure it's all you have heard about this week but I have to acknowledge that this Sunday will mark the 10th anniversary of September 11th. 

No matter how many years pass I know these chilling images will always bring tears to my eyes.

This beautiful morning was the day the world changed forever.

This was the day that we as American's were gripped with fear, devastation, disbelief.

This was the day so many showed unfathomable courage,

the day that reminded us what really matters in life,

the day that reminded us all to unite as proud Americans.

Some how we rose from the ashes

but we will never forget.
